2015 Midyear Top 10 Whiskies Countdown: #4

Which whisky earned the fourth place "honorable mention"?
We're halfway through the year (or just finished up the fiscal), so it's time to take stock of what we've done so far. TIME TO RANK THE TOP 10 WHISKIES!

Disclaimer: this is a top 10 of the whiskies we've podcasted about over the last 6 months. This is not a top 10 of all whiskies ever.

#4 Jura Brooklyn

Produced on the tiny, scenic island of Jura, Jura Brooklyn scotch takes its cues from the [best] borough of New York City that lends the name. Visit the Jura website here.

"It might be a bit of a marketing ploy for the hipster crowd, but Jura Brooklyn is so damn good, who cares if it's cool? Just an overall well done scotch, balanced and complex, providing the drinker with new flavor notes with every sip." - Evan

"A fine collaboration produced in Scotland and honed right here in good ol' Brooklyn. Despite seeming gimmicky, this is a smooth and nuanced whisky that was crafted with care." - Greg

"Number one on my list. It's like they were pandering directly to me. Give me more." - Quinn
