2015 Midyear Top 10 Whiskies Countdown: #2

Number 2!!!!
We're halfway through the year (or just finished up the fiscal), so it's time to take stock of what we've done so far. TIME TO RANK THE TOP 10 WHISKIES!

Disclaimer: this is a top 10 of the whiskies we've podcasted about over the last 6 months. This is not a top 10 of all whiskies ever.

#2 WhistlePig Rye

Born in and raised in Canada, WhistlePig is bottled in Vermont and billed as a top shelf rye. Check out their website here.

"Even though it's a little shady that WhistlePig's owners failed to initially mention where they got the blends for their rye, this stuff is so good you just have to forgive them. Caramel and spice and so smoove you have to spell it that way, this one is everything you want out of a rye, and your first taste might make you sigh 'Oh Canada' just a little too suggestively." - Evan

"For being a secret Canadian whiskey, this is fantastic. Incredibly smooth despite being 100 proof. This 100% rye whiskey is the tastiest that I have tried and well worth the above average price tag. I am excited for the future expressions this distillery will offer." - Greg

"I'm curious if this'll stay as good when they actually start making their own whiskey... in the meantime, this is the best whiskey that Donald Trump has ever been indirectly responsible for making that I've ever had." - Quinn

Tune in tomorrow for the winner!
